According to Chuck Gormley of the Camden Courier Post, the Philadelphia Flyers are attempting to trade for Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price.  Gormley suggests the Flyers could offer Daniel Briere or Joffrey Lupul and a top prospect in return.  Briere would have to waive his no-trade clause if included in a trade.

The Flyers are seeking a starting goaltender with Martin Biron hitting the free agent market later this summer.  Price will show up in trade rumors this off-season after struggling in the Canadiens playoff series against the Boston Bruins.

The 21-year-old netminder posted a 4.11 goals against average and a .878 save percentage during the four-game sweep.
