Predators Sign Tootoo To Extension

The Nashville Predators and forward Jordin Tootoo have agreed to a two-year contract extension.  The deal will pay Tootoo $1.15 million in 2010-11 and $1.35 million in 2011-12.  Tootoo was set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

The 27-year-old has 10 points and a plus-2 rating in 26 games this season.  Tootoo has missed time this season with a groin injury and with a broken foot. 

Tootoo was originally a fourth round pick by the Predators in the 2001 draft.
